Find Someone's Email Address - 5 Tips

If you are looking to find someones email address here are a few things you can do.

1. Obviously you could just ask, but since you are searching for an email address, that probably is not an option. So try to find a friend of the person and ask them for the address. Sometimes you'd be surprised that this would work.

2. Go to AOL and check the member directory and profile areas. You can try using keywords such as your friend's name, school, work, interests, etc. A lot of times people put these things in their profile over on Internet services like this, and you can find them this way.

3. Try Google, MSN, Yahoo, Altavista, Dogpile, etc. Enter your friend's name in all variations you can think of along with city, school, etc.

4. Try searching for someone else who may know your friend, and then email them and ask for the email address. Sometimes if you can't find the person, this is a lot easier. Try one person and then another.

5. If worse comes to worst, try one of the paid services to find your friend. Some only cost a small one-time fee and it would be worth the small fee to just go ahead and locate someone's email address.

Use these tips next time you are trying to find someone's email address.

Find Someone's Email Address - Internet Relationships

Are you are looking for a lost love online, an old girlfriend or boyfriend? Are you trying to find someone's email address who you used to know? An old sweetheart?

What happens if you find them? Have you thought about how stressful an online relationship is? Many people equate Internet relationships as living in a "fantasy world" because you are not really showing that person your real self.

You probably think that's crazy, if you are emailing back and forth you are showing more of yourself than you would in real life.

Not necessarily.

What happens is you end up showing through email just what you want to reveal and no more than that. The other person will not get to know your true self until you spend some real-world time together doing everyday things that normal couples do. Yes, some online relationships can work, sure, but they do require a lot of effort.

So while you are trying to find someone's email address so that you can get in touch with them and possibly begin corresponding, keep in mind that if you do end up finding them through a search engine or through an online member directory (these can be very helpful in your search), consider keeping things light and platonic at least until you can find a way to get together. If you live close, that shouldn't be a problem. However, if this is going to be a long-distance thing, these are very hard to make work.

Find Someone's Email Address - Married Flirting

Is it okay to flirt with other people when you are married or in a relationship? Is it okay to find someone's email address and begin an email or online friendship?

Some people think the answer to that is yes, and the only question is how far are you allowed to go before the answer is no?

Some couples are okay with flirting and some are not.

Is it a different situation because you are conversing via email or instant message rather than "real life?" What boundaries should we set for ourselves in this situation?

If your partner is a flirt, you should try to learn if they are truly committed to your relationship. Flirting can happen innocently and can be interpreted as a compliment, which bolsters the ego. It often can be harmless fun as two people innocently email back and forth.

However, a spouse's flirting, whether online or not, can be a sign of insecurity. The fact that he or she has gone to the trouble of going online to find someone's email address and begin an online chat relationship can be a sign of a serious problem in a relationship.

One thing that may happen is that some spouses figure that because they are married, and their online email friend knows this, they have the thought that it will not be taken seriously so it is fine. They just assume that other people know he or she would not cheat on their significant other.

You Want to Find Someone's Email Address - And What If You Find It?

Are you the type of person that just can't cast off people from their lives? Even friends you knew back in high school or college? Maybe you decided to go searching on the Internet for your high school sweetheart.

Now, we all know how difficult it can be to find someone's email address when you have no phone number or address to search with, but let's assume that lo and behold, you have managed to locate it at one of the free or paid sites online where you can do reverse email searches.

Well that's great, and congratulations! However, it is at this point that some folks go overboard and make a few mistakes when trying to contact that lost love.

Remember, you don't know if your former sweetie is attached or unattached, so I offer a few guidelines so that you follow some protocol when contacting this person.

First, if you happen to find out both the e-mail and also the regular address, please DO NOT decide to begin driving by their house periodically. Teenagers do that, it's expected, but when adults try this tactic it is referred to as "stalking."

So how to handle the situation? Well, if it's been a long time, your friend may not even remember you! And if they are married or attached, they may not appreciate you trying to track them down.

But happily, there are ways around the problem.

For example, one way that I have used before to find an old classmate is to use one of the many class reunion sites that are available all over the place online. Hey there, just a few words about searching for email addresses online. Many people find themselves in this situation, having just a name but no other way to contact that person. The good news is there are ways to go about this.

Are you feeling a bit nostalgic? Maybe you pulled out your old yearbook and saw a photo of one of your friends from college or high school, and now you wish you could find them. But since it's been quite a number of years (maybe more than you want to admit!), you may not have a phone number or address for your friend.

But what about getting in touch with them via their email address? Is it possible? How difficult is it to find someone's email address?

To maintain their customers' privacy, most Internet Service Providers usually do not register their customers' email addresses in public email directories, so it is then left up to each person to take it upon themselves to register their email address with a directory of their choice - if they wish to do so.

If your old friend never registered their email address, it can be quite a dilemma to find them. But it is not impossible. Here are a few steps you can take to start looking....

Have a lost love you want to find? A secret crush? Someone you used to work with? How about an old college roommate? Looking to find them via email? If you want to find someone's email address, here are a few tips to help get you started.

First, the most obvious advice is to call them and ask them. Of course, we are going to assume here that you do not have any phone number or any way to otherwise contact them, and as a last resort you are looking for them through the Internet and email.

So, if you can't call them, can you call or contact someone else who knows them? If this is someone you used to work with, maybe you have the contact information of a person you both knew, and perhaps that person can provide you with the information you need. If it's close by, take a drive over to the previous workplace and see if anyone there knows of your friend. Maybe someone has stayed in contact and can give you a phone number or some other helpful information.

If you have no luck going down that route, don't worry, there are other ways to find someone's email address.

Need an E-Mail Address Finder?

Have you ever found yourself needing an e-mail address finder? I've been in this situation and I'm sure a lot of people have, and even though I am pretty Internet savvy, I still had a difficult time with this problem.

First, a little about the situation. I used to work at a restaurant near my house , and I had become very good friends with one of the people I worked with. We would often spend time talking, and occasionally go out for coffee after work or to a movie. We were just friends, and we were both involved with other people at the time so it was just a platonic thing.

Well, recently I found myself to be "on the market" so to speak, and something made me think of this other person, we'll call him "Sam." I don't know why Sam was on my mind, or even what made me think of him as it has been years since I have even spoken with him, but suddenly I really wanted to contact him.

I started out by trying all the usual ways with the phone book, calling 411, search engines, et cetera. I used all sorts of search criteria, everything I could think of, but had no luck. I tried contacting the resaurant where I used to work, tried contacting people who I used to work with there, but no one was able to help me.

In short, I needed an e-mail address finder!

I guess I could have just given up but for some reason I just felt it was important to contact Sam. I don't know why really. Probably just a silly female thing (female intuition?). I mean, for all I knew, he could be married by now. So like I said, I don't really know why I kept at it.

But you know what? I finally stumbled on this thing I found online called The Email Finder. And guess what! Yep, you guessed it! I found Sam within minutes. Call it crazy luck or whatever, but he was single too at the time and, well, call this crazy too but I think I have found my soulmate. Really.

This works! Since the time I tried it, I've read a number of, oh, I don't know, testimonials I guess you'd call them, from other people who have had a similar situation just as I had.

So basically I'm writing this to help anyone else who may need to an e-mail address finder......best of luck!
